Thales conference at DSTI - Technical challenges when onboarding mobile subscribers through a digital journey
DSTI will have the pleasure to host a Thales conference presented by Mr Lokhate working as a former software engineer (~17 years), then product manager on different telecom products (10 years) for Thales DIS (Digital Information System). He will present the following topic:

In the telecom market, the raise of the eSIM (in place of classic removable SIM) is opening many opportunities to improve the user experience.
But behind the scene, such improvements require to face many technical challenges.
These challenges include identity-fraud detection (KYC), biometrics, cyber security (cyphering), support of a huge variety of mobile devices having very different capabilities, and all of this by always keeping the complexity hidden in order to offer an intuitive and easy user experience.
