Conference "Applying AI and Data Law: Expert Insight
The conference will open with a presentation by Prof. Hugues Bersini (Université Libre de Bruxelles) on the evolution of AI and its challenges, particularly in geopolitical and environmental terms, followed by a practical demonstration of the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) tool. This local, low-footprint language model could help ensure European digital sovereignty while minimising environmental impact. This presentation will be followed by a response from Professors Benoît Frydman (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Karim Benyekhlef (Université de Montréal, 3IA International Chairholder). Finally, time will be set aside for an exchange with the audience.
